Since building conceptgraphics.com way back in 1996, I’ve contributed to or independently developed hundreds of websites. Unsurprisingly, most of these have become defunct, been redesigned many times, or changed hands. I’ll spare you screenshots of my work that usually rode the cutting edge of web design (aka, the latest fads that would probably make you laugh now... can you say 20 MB Flash intro?).

Cloud-based SaaS dominate our landscape for good reason. Forget about daunting application updates, complicated DNS management, security certificates, and code injections... now almost anyone can build a decent website as long as they have a computer—or even just a phone—and some sense.

While I once spent every idle minute self-learning (hurray for w3schools) and keeping up to date on the latest code, most of my current web development work is centered around how information is organized and optimized for speed, relevance, and engagement.

This list of development skills I’ve historically used (to varying degrees) is just for fun. These days, I mostly live in Shopify, including for Bloom Farms and Verabella, and behind the scenes of digital marketing.
